Selvage Giveaway and Wonky Stars

If you are a lover of selvage like Jodie go and have a look at ModaLissa's blog as she is having a giveaway. Also be sure to have a look at Jodie's latest creation she is just amazing!

I have joined in the making of wonky stars for the people who have been affected by the bushfires. I must say I really love making them they are so quick and easy and I am falling in love with the look of them as I am using my retro style fabrics.

I can totally understand how Julia didn't want to part with her quilt which is gorgeous. However they will be going to someone that needs quilts more than I do. I started out just making some blocks yesterday afternoon in between working but I think I will end up making up the whole quilt as they were so quick and fun to make.

If you feel that you would like to make up some blocks for this project click here they are really really quick and easy and will allow you to use up lots of scraps or any charm squares you don't know what to do with. The tutorial is here.
